The following describes how to take the Ultimate Super Jump in Halo 2. There is no way to jump higher.

Ultimate Jump

This Halo 2 super jump is similar to the catapult effect of using the black shields as described in Glitch #2. You will need to play with the Overshield and a Rocket Launcher on any map that has a Banshee. Knock the Banshee upside down. Using the Rocket Launcher to hit the Banshee while squatting and looking up behind a wing is an easy way to flip it, but you can invert it however you like. Then stand on the very edge of the wing closest to the ground and shoot at the tip of the wing that is farthest from the ground with the Rocket Launcher. Easily reach the highest buildings or the cranes in Headlong. Sail far above the largest tower in Ascension.
