You may have heard of Sword Sailing in Halo2, but there is another way to reach even greater heights. The two new maps, Turf and Relic, from the Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack include several black shields that not only provide cover, but also provide a way to visit the clouds.

Rocket Sailing

Start a game in the new multiplayer map named Turf with the Overshield and a Rocket Launcher. Find one of the "small black shields" that would normally be used to hide behind as cover. Stand on the back of the shield and fire your Rocket Launcher at the front. The shield will act as a catapult, launching you high into the air above the city. You may even hit an "invisible wall" in the sky. This technique can be used to view the entire city and reach any location possible on Turf.

Bonus Tip!

Rocket Sailing can be used in Relic to reach the top of the giant tower. This may be the highest vantage point in any multiplayer map.
